Clive Aid

Welcome to Clive Aid! A showcase dedicated to Sir Clive Marles Sinclair (1940-2021) and Sinclair computers, including the ZX80, ZX81, ZX Spectrum, and QL.

From pocket calculators, to the Black Watch, to the infamous C5, Sinclair was a pioneer in many things and helped shape the British technology industry in the 70s and 80s. But he is best remembered for his range of microcomputers, especially the ZX Spectrum. The Spectrum turns 40 in 2022, so we're throwing a big do!

We're looking for showcases of games and software on Sinclair computers, whether they be speedruns, score attacks, or otherwise interesting playthroughs, as well as anything else you can think of.

Submissions close Monday 21st March 2022. Schedule will be announced within two weeks of closing. Marathon starts on Saturday 23rd April 2022 (St. George's Day, and the 40th anniversary of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum).

All runs must have English commentary provided by either yourself or a commentator.

Any donations support the Speedtrum Specrunning community, funding future events, competitions, bounties, or other things decided by the community.
