Fangame Marathon is a community-held event where you can submit speedruns, showcases, TASes, or other creative outlets for all types of fangames out there! We allow romhacks, mods, randomizers, and any games with primarily fan-made content; as long as it's not developed by the same company that made the original game (or franchise), we welcome you to submit it here. We also enjoy seeing runners who are passionate about their respective communities, so please submit no matter how fast of a speedrunner you may be. This is an online marathon, and you must be able to stream and play in real-time. Note that we do require all prospective runners to be in our Discord server for easier communication.
For your submissions, we're looking for runs that are at least 20 minutes long and at most 4 hours long. Any submissions that do not meet this criteria are likely to be rejected.
After the marathon concludes, we always finish the event off with a few additional runs in a bonus stream. You may be asked to have your run done during this time if the Tech Crew thinks it’d fit well.
We are always looking to have more members in the Tech Crew every year. We have various major and minor roles, from restreaming and organization to highlighting video segments and managing our social media throughout the event. If you would like to volunteer for any role, please contact a Tech Crew member through Discord.
