Gerri is a family friend that I have known my entire life. She is my sister's best friend. She even used to babysit me (as funny as that is to think back on now). She has been such a close part of me and my family's lives that she is practically another sister. Her boyfriend Joe died on November 1st. Shortly after opening her own salon, this has left her financially crippled.

We can't make Gerri financially independent. We can't give her a new house and a new car. We can't bring Joe back. We can't make that pain go away. But what we CAN do is make it so while she solves these difficult problems, she doesn't have to worry about getting to her job. She can pay her phone bill. This is to help pay for some little things while she navigates life's bigger problem.
