Oengus, speedrun maratonları düzenlemek için bir takım araçlar sunan bir sitedir.
"Speedrun", eğlenmek ve/veya başkalarıyla yarışmak amacıyla bir video oyununu olabildiğince hızlı tamamlama eylemidir. Speedrun hakkında daha fazla bilgiye Wikipedia (İngilizce)'dan ulaşabilirsiniz.
Speedrun maratonları, speedruncıların online veya reelde bir araya gelerek izleyicilere oyunları ve speedrunları sergilemek için toplanılan etkinliklerdir. En popüler speedrun maratonları, yılda iki kez düzenlenenGames Done Quick'tir.
Bu site Gyoo tarafından yaratılmıştır. Kendisi, 2013'ten beri speedrun camiasında çeşitli roller almıştır: speedrun.com global moderatörü, Speedrun Dünya Rekorları Twitter botunun yaratıcısı, Fransız yeniden yayınlama ekibinin (uluslararası speedrun maratonlarının daha geniş bir Fransız kitlesine ulaşmasını sağlayan ekip) bir üyesi, ve Bourg la Run'ın (Games Done Quick'in Fransız karşılığı)'nın yaratıcısı.
